　　A Little Newspaper Comer-小小讀報(bào)角

　　Yesterday when I came home from school, I saw something newly happened. There appeared several newspaper stands at the comer of the corridor. Who put them there? I was wondering while I saw my neighbor Stephen came out with a chair in one hand and a pile of newspaper under the other arm. He told me he had retired and wanted to do something for his neighbors.

　　昨天放學(xué)回家時(shí)，我看見了一件新鮮事。我們樓道拐角多了幾個(gè)報(bào)紙架。是誰放的呢?我正在納悶，這時(shí)鄰居斯蒂芬爺爺拿著一把椅子出來了，胳膊底下還夾著一大摞報(bào)紙。他告訴我他已經(jīng)退休了，在家里閑著也沒事，就打算為街坊們做點(diǎn)好事。人老了也要關(guān)心國家大事嘛。

　　It was a rainy night in spring. I lied in bed sleepless, listening to the rain dropping down softly on the roof. It was just like the music. I was deeply moved by it. Rain in spring is not like rain in autumn or summer. It drizzles sometimes, moistening the thirsty fields lightly and selflessly.

　　I apparently feel the fresh breeze together with raindrops blowing against my window.
