　　Nowadays, television has become the most popular media of human kind. It’s also the indispensable device in our daily life. By watching TV , we can see many things happened in the surrounding us world , therefore it help us to catch and avoid being dropped back from the world of information. Everyone must agree that the advantages of watching TV are very considerable .But beside those benefits , there are some disadvantages that we must notice to be sure that we watch TV most effectively.

　　Everything contains good side and bad side and television has no exception . Wasting time is one of the inherent disadvantage of watching TV. On the other hand , television programme are not always suitable for all ages.Sometimes , there are some movies contain sexual material and violence which affected the stormy phase of growing of children and teenagers and should not be watched ,even by some adults.

　　In my summary, I have reached a conclusion that nowadays, television is indispensable Although it will be replaced by computer someday, but TV’s benefit to our life sill guarantee it as the most important device which people need , in order to be up-to-date.

　　一切都有很好的方面又有不好的方面和電視有例外。浪費(fèi)時(shí)間就是一個(gè)固有的缺點(diǎn)看電視。另一方面,電視節(jié)目并非總是適合任何年齡層有時(shí)候,有些電影含有色情內(nèi)容的暴風(fēng)雨的影響和暴力的發(fā)展階段的兒童和青少年,不應(yīng)該被注意,即使是由一些成年人。

　　TV is not only a convenient and cheap service of entertainment, but also a splendid mass medium of communication.people only have to pay once to buy a tv set, then they can sit at home enjoying the items on tv. all they have to do is to push a button or turn a knob, and they can see plays, films,operas and shows of every kind. tv keeps us well informed about the current events at home and abroad and the latest development in science and technology. the most distant countries and the strangest customs are brought right into our room. on tv everything is much more living and much more real. as a matter of fact, it has become so much a part of human life that a modern world without television is unimaginable. some people even say that life without television is not worth living.

　　some people argue against tv. they think that tv viewers need do nothing. the viewer does not even have to use his legs if he has a remote control. many people are glued to seats to look at the movements on tv. they become so dependent on its pictures that it begins 'to control their lives. as a result,tv is taking up too much of a person's life and making him lazy, not to mention its harmful influence upon him,such as the items of violence and pornography on television.

　　on the whole,there are more advantages than disadvantages in the use of tv.different people may have different attitudes toward tv. but we must realize that television in itself is neither good nor bad. its value to people and society depends on how we took at it.

TV makes them isolated. What’ more, sometimes the TV programs may contain sexual scenes or bloody scenes that not suitable for children to watch.
