Over the past years, floods, droughts, landslides, and dust-storms have frequented our planet, the only habitat of human beings. Several days ago, tsunami has swept the Southeast Asia, which has caused enormous damage. All these have sounded an alarm to human beings.
The destruction which is caused by human beings has aroused people s concern all over the world. If we pay no heed to the present destructive human activities, our planet will become of tomb instead of cozy home. What s more, we should realize that only from our planet can we obtain our sheltering, food, cloth and so forth.
Counter-measures must be taken to curb the destruction caused by human beings. Most importantly, laws must be established to punish those who are involved in destructive conducts.

While winter swimming makes me feel excited and achievability. In general, swimming keeps me fit in both physical and mental. In the past, exam-oriented education forced us to listen to our teachers while taking notes in class. We did all kinds of exercises without end, though it was 5 o’clock in the afternoon. After supper, we had to continue our exercises far into the night.
Now, quality-oriented education has made our school life colorful. We are active in class. In order to train the ability, we often do research on study. Sometimes one of us teaches ourselves. We have various outside activities, such as singing, dancing, English corner, and taking computer lessons. Basketball and football are our favorite sports. In the evening we can watch news on TV, do experiments by ourselves and have talks and discussions of our subjects.
