　　Boys and girls,May I have your attention, please? I’m going to talk something about students watching TV.As we know, TV plays an important part in our daily life. It’s quicker and more convenient to get information from TV than from newspapers. Providing us with lively and interesting moving pictures, TV enables us not only to see what is happening in the world but to learn many things, including foreign languages. So it is not reasonable to forbid students to watch TV. But watching TV too long is not good. Sitting in front of TV all day does harm to our eyes and wastes our time for study.So we should take a correct attitude to students watching TV.Thank you for your listening.

　　我的英語老師中等個子，不胖也不瘦，她長著一雙明亮的大眼睛，好像會說話似的。當(dāng)你做了不應(yīng)該做的事時，她就會用責(zé)備的眼神盯你好一會，知道你低下頭來承認(rèn)錯誤為止；當(dāng)你做了令她高興的`好事時，她便用含笑的眼睛足足看你兩分鐘，好像是在欣賞一件什么寶貝似的。

　　她對我們的學(xué)習(xí)，要求很嚴(yán)厲：課文要背熟，句子要會寫，單詞要記牢。有一次，有位同學(xué)單詞不過關(guān)，老師讓他練會，可是他直到放學(xué)也沒練。于是放學(xué)后老師就陪著他練，知道練會為止。就這樣不是我們班的每一個同學(xué)成績落后。

　　一次，英語老師布置了一個非常非常多的作業(yè)：M1—M10的單詞一詞8個，放學(xué)前必交！而當(dāng)時已是第六節(jié)課！同學(xué)們趕緊奮筆疾書，寫啊——為了節(jié)省時間，同學(xué)們看了一眼單詞后，默記下來，然后快速地寫八遍。終于，大家都交上了作業(yè)。這時大家發(fā)現(xiàn)：默寫的單詞都記下來了！原來這是老師讓我們背住單詞的方法！

　　可有時，他還會鬧出一些小笑話。有一次，老師給我們講練習(xí)冊，本來是要講第一單元和第二單元的，可是她剛講完第一單元就把練習(xí)冊給收了。同學(xué)們七嘴八舌地說：“老師，第二單元還沒講呢！ ”“對呀！”“對呀！”老師這才恍然大悟：“快！快把練習(xí)冊傳下去！”我們都笑個不停。

　　這就是我們的英語老師，有可親又可敬。

　　“劍橋少兒英語”在上課時可以做游戲、唱歌曲、猜謎語，不像其它英語那樣死記硬背。課堂上氣氛活躍，同學(xué)們積極回答問題。記得有一次，老師根據(jù)課文內(nèi)容編排了一個小節(jié)目，我扮演小貓，麗麗扮演小狗，我們倆在教室前面，一邊唱一邊跳，一會學(xué)貓的'神態(tài)，一會學(xué)小狗的動作，同學(xué)們也伴著音樂的節(jié)奏拍著手，在不知不覺中練習(xí)了字母、句子的讀音，逐漸熟悉牢記了課文內(nèi)容，表演后老師說我們兩位表現(xiàn)很好，還獎勵我們每人一支自動鉛筆。

　　The next day, we had an exciting sports meeting. Many players were in it. All the others just watched them. Some were busy writing articles about it.

　　The boys and girls 1500 metres races were the most exciting games. The relay races were exciting, too. Everyone cheered for the competitions.

　　They did their best. When they scored for their own class, everyone was so excited that they jumped to their feet.

　　The sports meeting didn't end until four in the afternoon. We were tired but we were so happy.
