中國的傳統(tǒng)佳節(jié)——元宵節(jié)就要到了。正月是農(nóng)歷的元月，古人稱夜為“宵”，所以稱正月十五為元宵節(jié)。正月十五日是一年中第一個月圓之夜，也是一元復(fù)始，大地回春的夜晚，人們對此加以慶祝，也是慶賀新春的延續(xù)。元宵節(jié)又稱為“上元節(jié)”。按中國民間的傳統(tǒng)，在這天上皓月高懸的夜晚，人們要點起彩燈萬盞，以示慶賀。出門賞月、燃燈放焰、喜猜燈謎、共吃元宵，合家團(tuán)聚、同慶佳節(jié)，其樂融融。
Eating Yuanxiao--吃元宵
Yuanxiao is the special food for the Lantern Festival. It is believed that Yuanxiao is named after a palace maid, Yuanxiao, of Emperor Wu Di of the Han Dynasty. Yuanxiao is a kind of sweet dumpling, which is made with sticky rice flour filled with sweet stuffing. And the Festival is named after the famous dumpling. It is very easy to cook - simply dump them in a pot of boiling water for a few minutes - and eaten as a dessert.

In 1949 my hometown was liberated. Since then great changes have taken place there. The streets have been widened. Factories, schools, hospitals, cinemas and theatres have sprung up one after another. The life of the people is greatly improved.
I love my hometown. All the more I love its people. They are working hard so as to make it still richer and more beautiful.

“報紙！”媽媽報了一個單詞。
“什么？豹子？我們沒有學(xué)過這個單詞��！你是不是看錯了？是不是、、、、、、、”我一連串的問題向媽媽掃射去。
“報紙！”媽媽不耐煩地又報了一遍。
“是不是newspaper?”我問道。
“是啊是�。 眿寢尰卮鸬�。
“誒！那你為什么說豹子啊！”我埋怨道。
后來想想，才發(fā)現(xiàn)報紙和豹子是諧音，所以我才會聽錯。
