媽媽也很著急，要我上課認(rèn)真聽(tīng)講，回家后還每天督促我讀呀背呀。盡管我把老師每天講的新單詞都認(rèn)認(rèn)真真地記了下來(lái)，可是老師發(fā)下來(lái)的英語(yǔ)作業(yè)中，有很多別的小朋友學(xué)過(guò)的單詞我卻不認(rèn)識(shí)，既不知道意思，又不知道該怎么讀。
有一天，我在做英語(yǔ)作業(yè)的'時(shí)候，又遇到一個(gè)英語(yǔ)單詞“goggles”。我既不知道它的意思，又不知道怎樣讀。正在我手足無(wú)措的時(shí)候，我看見(jiàn)爸爸在用電腦查東西。電腦真是神奇，不知道的東西一會(huì)兒就查到了。我問(wèn)爸爸：“爸爸，我不知道的英語(yǔ)單詞，能在電腦查到嗎？”爸爸回答：“能，你自己來(lái)找找吧。”爸爸說(shuō)著，就讓我坐到了電腦前。我發(fā)現(xiàn)電腦里有個(gè)軟件叫“金山詞霸”。我打開(kāi)“金山詞霸”，把“goggles”這個(gè)單詞輸進(jìn)去，然后點(diǎn)擊查詢，一看，我恍然大悟，原來(lái)“goggles”是護(hù)目鏡的意思�。卧~后面有個(gè)小喇叭，按一下還能發(fā)出單詞的讀音來(lái)。我高興極了，一邊不停地按，一邊跟著電腦讀。就這樣，在電腦的幫助下，我學(xué)會(huì)了“goggles”這個(gè)英語(yǔ)單詞。從此以后，“金山詞霸”成了我的第二個(gè)英語(yǔ)老師，一遇到不認(rèn)識(shí)的英語(yǔ)單詞，我就找它幫忙。慢慢地，我的英語(yǔ)水平提高了，上一次英語(yǔ)考試，我還考了全班的第三名呢！
