　　暑假里我看了馬克吐溫著的《威尼斯的小艇》，其中短篇小說《百萬英鎊》是一部很好的作品，讀了它使我感觸很深。

　　《百萬英鎊》是講一個貧窮、誠實(shí)的人，也就是這個故事的主人公收到了一對兄弟的信，信里裝著百萬英鎊。原來這對兄弟打了一個賭，賭如果一個貧窮、誠實(shí)的人收到天上掉下的一百萬英鎊，他會有怎樣的結(jié)果?哥哥認(rèn)為他會餓死，因為他無法證明這些錢是他自己的，而且會受到別人的懷疑，就連銀行都不會讓他存錢。弟弟卻認(rèn)為他會過得很好。于是他們兄弟倆將一百萬英鎊的支票借給了這個貧窮又誠實(shí)又聰明的人，并出國呆了一個月。沒想到在這段時間里，人們對這位突然暴富的罕見富翁，竟拼命地拉攏他，從免費(fèi)吃飯，買衣服，到免費(fèi)住宿，一個個像乞丐一樣討好他，并不斷提高他的社會地位，一直到了除王室外最高的公爵之上!不光如此，他還得到了一位好妻子和三萬英鎊的銀行利息，最后還從兩兄弟那兒得到了一份很好的.工作，過著非常非常幸福的生活。

　　看到這兒，我很羨慕這位如此“幸運(yùn)”的主人公，真希望能和他一樣幸運(yùn)，但我又轉(zhuǎn)念一想：人們之所以討好他，還不是因為當(dāng)時人們太看重金錢了嗎?拜金主義是可恥的，不勞而獲更不應(yīng)該!金錢不是萬能的，世界上還有許多比金錢更重要的東西——良心和品德……

　　記得上個學(xué)期、我們上英語課、因為英語老師要去聽課、所以安排了作業(yè)給我們做、但是她又怕太吵、所以叫英語課代表管紀(jì)律、誰違反了紀(jì)律、誰就將這次的作業(yè)做30遍、我們都乖乖的做了起來、但是、英語老師剛剛走、我們班上那幾個調(diào)皮的.男生就吵了起來、課代表就記了他們的名字、還讓他們別吵、不然就把名單拿給老師看、可是那幾個人那里會聽啊........繼續(xù)吵、課代表就發(fā)火了、說:“如果你們靜下來、我就把你們的名字都畫掉”其中有一個男生說：“你以為你是誰啊、再說了、老師也只是說說而已、又不是真的�！闭f完就繼續(xù)吵了起來、到快要下課的時候、老師就回來了、拿起名單看了看、就對我們說、：“班上一個人犯錯、全班一起罰”老師剛說完、我們就在那里討論了“怎么可以這樣、又不是我們的錯”“就是啊、我們可沒有吵啊、為什么要罰我們、這不公平”聽他們這么說、我也很生氣、心里一直在想、老師怎么這么不誠實(shí)啊、不是說好只罰違反紀(jì)律的人嗎？？怎么又罰我們?nèi)嗟娜税�、這不公平........

　　我現(xiàn)在終于明白了、其實(shí)老師只是想讓我們知道、下次不可以再違反紀(jì)律了....................
