I was born on March 18. My family is neither very rich nor very poor. My parents are peasants. They work hard to support the family. They encourage me to study well. My childhood was happy.
I like learning. I like music and sports, too. I can run very fast and am the fastest runner in my class. I am good at English, Physics and Math.
I want to be a scientist. Scientists have made recorders, TV sets, and so on. They have also invented the computer. All these make our life rich, interesting and easy.

我不明白，為什么英語(yǔ)會(huì)是和語(yǔ)文數(shù)學(xué)一樣重要的學(xué)科，學(xué)習(xí)語(yǔ)文可以提高分析，閱讀，寫作能力，可以讓我們?cè)诟鞣N美好的，離奇的，勵(lì)志的`故事海洋里徜徉，學(xué)習(xí)數(shù)學(xué)可以提高我們的思維能力，解決生活中遇到的實(shí)際問題，就算學(xué)個(gè)歷史，也可以讓我們知道中國(guó)上下五千年的光輝事跡，學(xué)習(xí)地理也可以讓我們不出門便可領(lǐng)略祖國(guó)的大好河山......學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)呢？我不反對(duì)，生活中我們確實(shí)會(huì)遇到一些英文說(shuō)明書，標(biāo)志什么的，但也不至于把英語(yǔ)上升到和語(yǔ)文數(shù)學(xué)一樣的高度。
為了英語(yǔ)能考出好成績(jī)，幾乎每個(gè)家長(zhǎng)都使出渾身解數(shù)，把自己的孩子推到各種輔導(dǎo)班。浪費(fèi)了大量的人力物力，還有時(shí)間�？蛇@對(duì)邊遠(yuǎn)山區(qū)的孩子公平嗎？外公所在的小學(xué)根本就沒有英語(yǔ)課，就是想上英語(yǔ)輔導(dǎo)班，也找不到地方。外公經(jīng)常說(shuō)：真不明白，為什么一個(gè)外國(guó)的語(yǔ)言卻決定著很多中國(guó)的孩子能不能上好大學(xué)，真是國(guó)家的可悲。是呀，農(nóng)村的孩子到中學(xué)才開始上英語(yǔ)課，我們卻已經(jīng)在輔導(dǎo)班把初中的英語(yǔ)課程學(xué)完了。農(nóng)村的孩子出生便倒在了英語(yǔ)的起跑線上，可悲，可嘆。
我不反對(duì)學(xué)英語(yǔ)，英語(yǔ)也絕不應(yīng)該和我們的語(yǔ)文數(shù)學(xué)同比，可以和歷史，地理這樣的小學(xué)科并列，這樣既可以把我們的傳統(tǒng)文化發(fā)揚(yáng)光大，也給了山區(qū)，農(nóng)村邊遠(yuǎn)地區(qū)孩子一個(gè)和我們站在同一起跑線的機(jī)會(huì)。
