　　A Visit to the National Palace Museum

　　Recently I spent over three hours looking, reading and enjoying the exhibits at the National Palace Museum located in the suburbs. Many local and foreign visitors go there daily to take pictures outside and spend endless hours inside. No cameras are allowed inside, but you can buy you can buy colored slides of the exhibits in the gift shop downstairs. There is a very large collection of beautiful jades. Also, there is an ancient bronze vessel exhibit. Some of the exhibits are changed regularly for special collections such as porcelain and silk paintings. My attention was mainly in the room with the wall-size slide show describing some archeological discoveries from pre-history tine. Also, the oracle bones' exhibit was very good; there seemed to be an endless amount of rare, beautiful, interesting, and fascinating things.

　　迎著早春的晨風(fēng)，我蹦蹦跳跳地和大家一起，來到了位于校園西南角的英語角這個小花園。花園前赫然立著一塊浪花狀的牌子，上面醒目地寫著幾個紅色字母:English corner�；▓@的門口栽了兩棵菩提樹，它們搖著長長的手臂，似乎對我們表示歡迎。往前走，就是一條小徑。小徑左邊長了一棵柏樹，右邊則長了一棵八角刺。它們發(fā)出沙沙的聲音，似乎在警告我們不許破壞綠化。我沿著小徑，穿過小橋，來到了花園中心。

　　花園的東面長了幾棵高大的玉蘭花。玉蘭花還是一個個花苞呢，外面毛茸茸的，像一個初生的小嬰兒�；▓@的.南面有兩個噴水池，噴水池十分平靜，只有魚兒游泳的聲音，偶爾，你還能看到它們呢。水池邊上是一座堆砌精美的假山，假山由一些奇形怪狀的石頭堆砌而成，遠(yuǎn)看過去，就像一座城堡。假山的旁邊，是一片幽靜的小竹林，里面長滿了翠色欲滴的竹子，一陣風(fēng)吹來，竹葉便沙沙作響，仿佛是女王在與密友竊竊私語。|||花園的西面開滿了花朵。臘梅開得正旺，這兒一叢，那兒一簇，很不少。瞧，臘梅的花瓣纖細(xì)頎長，呈透明的淡黃色，層層花瓣包裹的中心，是嫩黃的花蕊，細(xì)聞，還有一股清香哩。臘梅的后邊，還栽了幾株含苞欲放的茶花，像一個個害羞的小姑娘。最外層則是一些廣玉蘭，它們挺著高大的身軀，像是在保護(hù)這邊花園。花園的北面有一片綠瑩瑩的草地。草地上長了許多不知名的小花小草，其中就包括艾草。草地兩側(cè)栽著幾棵香樟樹，似乎是守護(hù)這片草地的綠主人。

As a return, the students must serve as a primary school teacher for at least 10years in his hometown. I feel that is a good news for me and I will contact the universities to get enrolld.

　　First of all, ads a farmers child, my familys living condition is not so good, I can hardly afford the high tuition of regular universities. I am so happy to get this chance to become a college student and coninue my study.

　　Secondly, serving as a teacher is my dream since I was a child. I was brought up in a mountain village. Many of my little friends got poor education and they had to get to work as a teenager. If I become a teacher, I will devote myself to give them better education.

　　Lastly, our country is in great need of teachers, especially in rural areas. After I graduate, I will return to my hometown and serve as a good teacher.

And after World War II,when scuba equipment became popular, fishermen began harvesting abalone in extraordinary numbers. In 1957, a record of 5.4 million pounds was caught, according to the California Department of Fish and Game.
