　　I like reading in my free time. I’ve read all kinds of books which are written by many famous writers from all over the world. But I like a Chinese writer best. His name is Xu Zimo.

　　在我空閑時我喜歡閱讀。我已經(jīng)讀過很多來自世界各國的著名作家寫的各種各樣的書。不過，我最喜歡的一個作家是中國的。他的名字叫徐志摩。

　　Xu Zhimo was born in a big family. His parents were good at writing and his father taught little Xu by himself. When Xu Zhimo was very young, he was interested in reading. Fables, stories or novels were his favorites and he often nearly forgot eating and sleeping.When Xu was about six years old, he began to write some short stories. He was always practising writing and he did better and better. But he still kept on reading, because he always believed that “Reading makes a full man, a ready man and an exact man.”

　　眾所周知，南外是一所以外語見長的學(xué)校，而其中擅長英語的“精英”們，更是數(shù)不勝數(shù)。進入這所學(xué)校后，我才明白自己的英語多么欠缺，于是，我就開始了“漫漫”的學(xué)英語之路。殊不知這是一條苦樂交織的路。

　　苦

　　“天啊，為什么每天的英語單詞都這么多��！”幾乎天天都能聽到我和同學(xué)們的感嘆�；叵胄W(xué)時，一學(xué)期也學(xué)不了多少新詞。而現(xiàn)在，英語筆記本是消耗最大的一本本子，甚至一天學(xué)的生詞，與一學(xué)期的相差無幾。繁重的英語單詞“壓”得我喘不過起來，就連寫其他作業(yè)時，我嘴里也不時輕聲念叨著。

　　最怕的，還是英語考試了。我像極了寓言中寫到的那個撿一個玉米棒掉一個的大灰熊：面對厚厚一本英語本，看著那些以前學(xué)過，可現(xiàn)在早已忘記的單詞，我的大腦一片空白——當(dāng)然，考試成績也不盡如人意。學(xué)英語，真是一件“苦差事”啊！

　　樂

　　當(dāng)然，學(xué)英語也并非完全在苦海里“掙扎”。南外的英語課，充滿了趣味：每節(jié)課都會播放一首英文歌，課前也有同學(xué)上講臺演講。而且老師們一直在教我們地道的句型和實用的表達方法。我永遠也不會忘記，當(dāng)逛商場時發(fā)現(xiàn)藥店門口寫著pharmacy時的`激動；坐地鐵時看到Olympicstadium的激動……我感到所有事物正以一種從未有過的方式重組，正如用截然不同的方法詮釋整個世界。大概這就是學(xué)英語的魅力所在了吧！

　　學(xué)英語，有苦也有樂，因為事實上學(xué)習(xí)就是一個苦樂交織的過程。那么就讓這句話來激勵我自己吧：“路漫漫其修遠兮，吾將上下而求索。”
