　　那26個字母像一座沉重的`大山壓在媽媽那兒。要知道，她對此真是一竅不通。不是“V”和“U”搞錯，就是把“I”和“L”混淆，媽媽被這些字母搞得頭暈眼花。如果媽媽不是用好東西誘惑表哥，我想表哥早就不想教她了。媽媽有時還會向我求教。我讓她讀給我聽，她讀道：“啊（A）筆（B）死（C）地（D）……”我一個一個地耐心糾正，媽媽一個一個耐心地學(xué)。

　　As far as I am concerned, every coin has two sides. On the one hand, students may learn the course better, because they may choose the professor they liked. 　　幼兒園之前，爸爸總是抱著我坐在藤椅上閱讀英語報紙或雜志，還不識字的我喜歡在報刊上指指點點，讓爸爸大聲念出每個英語字，指揮爸爸發(fā)出聲音的游戲，讓我樂在其中，漸漸地，換成我開始念出不同的英語字母，不管念對或念錯，爸爸總是不厭其煩陪我玩，不知不覺，“玩”英語就變成我的最愛。看到爸爸可以聚精會神享受閱讀英語的樂趣，讓我也想要學(xué)好英語，想要和爸爸一樣，自由自在的閱讀英語。

　　一開始，爸爸念了很多兒童讀物給我聽，聽完了故事，我會重新說一次給爸爸聽；遇到不懂的`字，爸爸會耐心為我講解；有了爸爸的幫助，讀書并沒有我想象中的困難；然后我開始自己閱讀進階讀物，自己漫游在書海里，一本接著一本，不停的探索新奇的世界。

　　在這個過程中，我遇到一些困難，第一個困難是聽得懂英語卻不知道如何正確拼字，于是，爸爸做了一堆字卡讓我每天練習(xí)，慢慢推敲拼字的規(guī)則，我終于克服了拼字錯誤的難關(guān)；其次，我遇到的第二個困難是中文和英語的字義沒辦法連結(jié)，我很容易忘記英語單字的中文意思；關(guān)于這點，爸爸說：別著急，慢慢來；只要每天持續(xù)閱讀，在閱讀英語的同時也不要忽視對于中文的學(xué)習(xí)，等到中英語的能力都嫻熟了，這個難題就可以迎刃而解；因此，我按照爸爸的說明，每天大量閱讀自己感興趣的中英語書籍，讓閱讀變成一件享受的事。

　　我很感謝爸爸的指導(dǎo)，在學(xué)習(xí)英語的過程中，被爸爸夸贊是我最享受的時刻，所以每一次我都會盡全力來挑戰(zhàn)自我；此外，每當(dāng)我把英語故事朗讀給全家人聽時，看到全家人聽得津津有味的神情，更是我最大的驕傲。

MoreOver,the smallest unforeseeh event like a power-cut, an exceptionally heavy snowfall or rainfall can bring about conditions of utter inconvenience and chaos.

　　City-dwellers are obliged by their environment to adopt a wholly unnatural way of life. They lose touch with nature and all the simple, good things of life like sunshine and fresh air at a premium. Tall buildings block out the sun. Traffic fumes pollute the atmosphere,The flow of traffic goes on unceasingly and the noise-never stops.

　　The funny thing about it all in a large modern city is,that you pay dearly for tht "privilege" of living.The demand for accommodation is so great that it is often impossible for ordinary people to buy a house/flat of their own. Furthermore,the cost of living is very high. Just about everything you buy is likely to be more expensive than it would be in the country.

　　In addition, city-dwellers live under constant threat.The crime rate in most cities is very high. Houses are often burgled.Cities breed crime and violence and are full of places you would be afraid to visit at night. If you think about it, they are not really fit to live in at all. Can anyone really doubt that the country is what man was born for and where he truly belongs?
