　　It is reported that the world’s population was 6 billion in the year 2,000, and it is growing faster and faster. The world’s population problem is the greatest one because it brings lots of problems, such as water resources problem, more and more people losing their jobs and so on. These problems are mainly in the developing countries because the population of the developing countries is over 4/ 5 of the world’s popuation. So China, the largest developing country, has kept the policy one couple, one child.

　　今天，我給你們講講我第一次寫英語作業(yè)的糗事兒。

　　開學(xué)第一次的英語課。

　　一二兩節(jié)課上完了。第三節(jié)開始上英語課，英語老師首先作了自我介紹，接著講了如何學(xué)習英語，然后教了我們書寫英語的順口溜，什么“字字要相連，詞詞要分開，開頭要大寫，句末有標點�！边@個我感興趣記下來了，最后MISS ZHANG 開始給我們上UNIT 1。我糊里糊涂地上了這節(jié)英語課，老師布置英語作業(yè)的時候，我根本一句也沒聽。

　　回到家以后，我根本不知道英語作業(yè)寫什么。我想：既然今天上的是UNIT 1 ，那今天的作業(yè)肯定和UNIT 1 有關(guān)，我就寫了UNIT 1 的單詞。

　　第二天，我把作業(yè)交給組長，組長說：“你怎么寫錯作業(yè)啦？”我聽了組長的`話，準備拿我的英語本回去補，可是組長卻不還給我。我沮喪地回到了座位。等MISS ZHANG 改作業(yè)的時候，我提心吊膽。不過老師沒有批評我，叫我以后不能再犯同樣的錯誤了。

　　Last summer I went to Vietnam with my parents. We stayed at a small village outside Saigon. The air and water was very clean and there were many kids playing in the mud along with water buffalos. Though it’s a very poor country, the kids seem to be happy. They live with their farmer parents in little houses built with dirt and straw and help out a lot in the rice field during the day. They don’t have TVs or Internet, but they enjoy a lot playing outside. It was a very memorable trip that I will never forget.
