最好的入學年齡 The Best Age of Entrance School
Some children go to school at the age offour, why is that? It is not a matter of the-earlier-the-better when we discussat what age children should go to school. As to me, it is unhealthy forchildren to start school too early.
有些孩子四歲就去上學了，為什么呢？在我們談論孩子該在什么年齡上學的時候，不是越早越好的問題。在我看來，孩子太早上學不健康。
First of all, psychologically speaking, children who attend school tooearly are forced into a premature situation, and thus bear more pressure thantheir peers. When they sit in a classroom full of competition from otherstudents who are two or three years older than them, it is difficult for themto deal with problems that others find easy to handle. Therefore, they mightlose confidence.
第一，就心理方面來說，孩子太早上學就被迫地陷入不成熟的境遇，他們會比同輩的人受到更多的壓力。當他們坐在一個充滿來自比他們大兩三歲的競爭對手的教室中，而且別人很容易掌握的問題，他們很難處理。這樣他們很容易失去信心。
Secondly, from the physical aspect, it is harmful for small children toshoulder the burden of schoolwork. According to the statistics, there are atleast 8,096 students in a single public school being overloaded wich homework.This results in many physical problems, such as short-sightedness and stuntedgrowth.
第二，從身體方面來說，孩子過早地擔負學校作業(yè)是有害的。根據數據顯示，在一所公立學校就有8096個學生家庭作業(yè)超負荷。這個會引發(fā)許多身體毛病，例如近視和發(fā)育不良。
Last but not least, most of the children who attend school earlier thanothers do not receive a well-rounded education, and tend to fall behind whenthey enter high school.
最后但并非不重要，許多過早上學的孩子并沒有接受到全方位的教育，而且他們更容易在上高中的時候落后于其他人。
Ina word, i think that schooling should follow the natural growth of children’sbodied and minds. To start school too early is harmful for children bothmentally and physically. In my opinion, children should start school at leastafter seven years old.
總而言之，我認為上學該遵照孩子的身體，心智自然發(fā)育而來。過早上學對孩子的心里和生理都不好。就我而言，孩子應該在7歲之后上學。
