October 1stis the national day of our country, which is a public holiday for the whole country. It’s an important day that marks the beginning of PRC.
On that day, there are plenty of celebrations holding throughout the country, from the central government to the general people. And public places, including big squares, parks are decorated in festive theme. In recent years, the national holiday means the golden week as well, which is a short holiday that all people expect to. With the improvement of living standards, people have more money and desire to travel and the golden week is a good chance for them. Besides, for those people who would not go out, it’s a good time to have a good rest as well. Therefore, the national day means a lot to the Chinese.

During the National Day holiday, my parents and I went back to my hometown of hua county. Along the way, I saw a busy scene in the fields, and people were harvesting corn and shaving.
When I arrived at my grandmothers house, my aunt took me to the field to pick sweet potato leaves, where I learned a lot about crops, including cotton, sweet potatoes, soybeans and peanuts. Its true that cotton flowers are white and soybeans are full.

I will travel to Jiuzhai Valley with my parents for three days. I have heard that the scenery of Jiuzhai Valley is very beautiful in autumn that it’s the best time to travel there. Autumn is my most favorite season so I want to enjoy the beauty of such a wonderful place.
I do some preparations for this trip. For example, I search the Internet to see the travel raiders and I have known where the most attracting place is and where to live in.
