  YES:Supplier training

NO:professional trainees from sister company should abide by rule of local company(太長) 主題框的內(nèi)容切忌含糊不清。

  NO:像News about the meeting 這樣的表達(dá),

YES:New E-mail Address Notification;Detailed calculation

  NO:detailed calculation

視信的內(nèi)容是否重要,還可以開頭加上URGENT或者FYI(For Your Information,供參考),如:URGENT:Submit your report today!

Smith。

Jimmy,

I received your memo and will discuss it with Eric on Wednesday.

  Best,

  David

Howard E. Wyatt, Dr. Howard E. Hyatt

YES: Messrs. Smith, Wyatt, and Fury 。 YES:用Mesdames, Mmes., or Mses.

Farb, Lionel, and Gray 。 Dr. and Mrs. Harold Wright ;Mr. Harold Wright and Dr. Margaret Wright ;Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Adams-Quinn 。

Ms. Sarah Gray

Ken Green, President /Ken Green /Vice President of International Operations

NO:Ken Green /Vice President of Unicom China

YES: Ken Green /Vice President, Unicom China

YES:Michael J. Smith, Jr. /Michael J. Smith Sr.

  Dear Committee Member:

  Dear Meeting Planner:

Dear Colleagues: To All Sales Reps:

  To Whom It May Concern:

  Dear Sir or Madam:

  Dear Madam or Sir:

  Dear Purchasing Agent:

YES: Gentlemen or Ladies: Ladies or Gentlemen:

NO:He did not make repairs, however, he continued to monitor the equipment.

YES:He did not make repairs; however, he continued to monitor the equipment.

NO:MUST change to OS immediately.

  Respectfully yours, Yours respectfully,

Very truly yours, Yours very truly, Yours truly,

Sincerely yours, Yours sincerely, Sincerely, Cordially yours, Yours cordially, Cordially,

Regards, Warm regards, With kindest regards, With my best regards, My best, Give my best to Mary, Fondly, Thanks, See you next week!

有時(shí)在we, I, and you之間選擇是很煩的事-- 如果是公司代表聯(lián)絡(luò)生意之類,可以用: We will reimburse you for these legal expenses. Sinopec will reimburse you for these legal expenses. I found the brochure very informative. We are pleased to offer you the position of sales director, and I am looking forward to our Tuesday morning meeting.

  那么I和you呢?

You will be pleased to learn that you have been selected to serve on our advisory board. Your prompt response will be appreciated.

I am pleased that our board has selected you as the best qualified candidate to serve on our advisory board. I hope you’ll agree to serve.

Your book was well written and comprehensive.

I thoroughly enjoyed your book and found an answer to every one of my questions about performance appraisals.

  A、文法

Deciding to rescind the earlier estimate, our report was updated to include $40,000 for new equipment.

應(yīng)改為:Deciding to rescind our earlier estimate, we have updated our report to include $40,000 for new equipment.

He decided not to audit the last ten contracts. Because of our previous objections about compliance.

The owner questioned the occupant's lease intentions and the fact that the contract had been altered with ink markings.

應(yīng)改為:The owner questioned the occupant's lease intentions and ink alterations of the contract.

An authorized person must show that they have security clearance.

1)This is one of the public-relations functions that is under budgeted.

2)This is one of the public-relations functions, which are under budgeted.

  127 Ninth Avenue, North

  127 E. 15 Street

  5 Park Avenue

  One Wingren Plaza

  556 - 91 Street

(1).Because he was unable to attend the meeting personally, he forwarded his congratulations on cassette tape.(2).He forwarded his congratulations on cassette tape because he was unable to attend the meeting personally.

例如: but (相反), therefore (結(jié)論), also (增添), for example (闡明).

Dear Sirs:

Thank you for your letter of 20 January 20xx. We are disappointed to hear that our price for Flame cigarette lighters is too high for you to work on. You mention that Japanese goods are being offered to you at a price approximately 10% lower than that quoted by us.

We accept what you say,but we are of the opinion that the quality of the other makes does not measure up to that of our products.

Although we are keen to do business with you,we regret that we cannot accept your counter offer or even meet you half way.

The best we can do is to reduce our previous quotation by 2%. We trust that this will meet with your approval. We look forward to hearing from you.

You

官樣e-mail:Your mail has been received.

  親切e-mail:I have received your mail.

官樣e-mail:Your complaint is being looked into.

親切e-mail:We are looking into your complaint.

  清楚字:call/write/visit

  模糊字:soon

  清楚字:by March 15

The paper jam had the effect of a destructive force on the copy machine. The paper jam destroyed the copy machine.

We have enclosed a brochure which shows further details of manufacture. The enclosed brochure shows further manufacture details.

We look forward to a bright and glorious future of cooperation.

樸實(shí)句:We hope to have the opportunity to work with you in the future.

The choice of exogenous variables in relation to multi-collinearity is contingent upon the derivations of certain multiple correlation coefficients.

  樸實(shí)句:Supply determines demand.

Obviously, if you’d read your policy carefully, you’d be able to answer these questions yourself.

I'm glad to clear up these questions for you.

In order to complete the claim you made, simply..

To complete your transaction,..

How are you?

Introduction: Our Product Offerings for Bright Ideas Imports

Can we work together?

Proposal: Bright Ideas Imports—ABC's Partnership Opportunity

Dear Tom,

Thanks for your letter which finally caught up with me in London. I suppose you're keen to hear how the trip has been so far. So here's a short description of what's happened.

Well, you remember we left Sydney on Monday and arrived in London 24 hours later. After such a long and exhausting flight the first thing we did was to have a good, long sleep. And after that?a good meal to make up for all that horrible airline stuff!

The first real day of our holiday was spent just walking around London to get a feel of the place. After that, however, we were more particular and planned each day carefully.

First, we looked at all the historical sights, such as the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament, the British Museum and the National Gallery. Then we visited some other famous places, such as Kew Gardens and Hampstead Heath. Finally, we took a one-day trip to Oxford, which is really the most marvelous town. You should make sure to go there when you visit England.

After we had seen a lot of London, we flew to Paris. A t first, we didn't like the place-I suppose because it was so different from London. Later, though, we began to really love it and started to appreciate its differentness.

The final stage of our trip is a visit to Rome, after which we will be staying in Singapore for two days before returning to Australia.

Hope everyone is well. See you soon.

  Dear Mr. John,

How are things going with you in Beijing?

I am writing to show my thanks to you. You tutored me in my spoken English before you went to Beijing. With your help I made such rapid progress that I won the first place in the Spoken English Competition of the city. My achievement is owed to your help. Thank you very much.

I have heard that you and your wife will pay a visit to my school. I am very glad at the news. In that case we can see each other again. I am looking forward to your coming. I am sending you a telescope as a small gift. I hope you will like it.

  All the best.

  Yours,

  Liu Jie

Hi! It’s Li Ming here again.

Glad to learn you’re coming to Beijing in a couple of days. My family and I are looking forward to your visit and we are so glad you can stay with us while you are in Beijing. We have got everything ready for you so as to make you feel at home.

On the day you arrive, my father and I will meet you at the airport and in the evening we will have a nice dinner party at home, I’m sure you will like all the delicious Chinese food.

During the following days, I will show you around many places of interest in Beijing, including the Great Wall, which is regarded as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. We will spend some time touring around downtown Beijing, such as Wangfujing, Xidan and Qianmen, where you can do some shopping if you like. Of course, as it is the largest one in the world, Tian’ anmen Square is a scenic spot we can’t miss. Another exciting moment we will share is going to the 20xx New Year Concert given by China National Traditional Orchestra, which is held at famous Vienna Golden Hall, Austria during the Chinese Spring Festival every year.

The spring festival, like the carnivals in western countries, is a special joyous/joyful occasion of celebration for Chinese as well as other many Asians. If you can stay in Beijing long enough, you will be able to share the pleasure of it with us.

I believe we will have much fun together. WELL, SEE YA SON, BYR! Li Ming

  Dear XXX,

How are you? It has been a long time since we last wrote to each other.

How are you doing in school? Were there any interesting events?

I have been trying very hard to learn English, but it has not improved much. I heard that your English is good and I would really appreciate it if you could give me some tips on studying English. How can we improve quickly over a short period of time? Also, do you have any shortcuts in learning grammar, gaining vocabulary and improving English speaking skills?

I will be anticipating your reply! Thank you so much!

  Yours sincerely,

  XXX

例如:may 17 XX。

或my dear… 如:dear li lei, dear miss thomas或my dear dad.

The Dragon Boat Festival (Dragon Boat Festival) is a traditional Chinese festival, which is held on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, also known as the "Double Fifth Festival" Since then, in other parts of East Asia and the west, people celebrate the festival in various ways. The exact origin of the festival is not clear. However, there is a traditional view that the Dragon Boat Festival is to commemorate Qu Yuan, a Chinese poet during the Warring States period.

He committed suicide because he hated the corruption of the Chu government and the local people, and knew that he was a good man People, therefore, decided to throw food into the river to feed the fish, so that they would not eat Qu Yuan's body. They also sat on a long and narrow dragon boat and tried to scare the fish away with the sound of drums on the boat and the ferocious dragon head carved on the bow. During the period of the Republic of China, the Dragon Boat Festival was also known as "poet's Day".

Because Qu Yuan was China's first poet of personal fame, today people eat glutinous rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo, which are called zongzi (the food originally used to raise fish) and race Dragon boat in memory of Qu Yuan's dramatic death.

While many types of frauds exist at present, telephone and e-mail frauds are two inexpensive and popular methods for criminals distributing deceitful messages to potential victims. A great many of people's processions are lost annually and the losses continue to escalate. How can we protect ourselves from telephone and e-mail frauds? In my opinion, one way to avoid the frauds is to protect our personal information and never let it leak out.

Most frauds are carried out by criminals trying to obtain access to our personal information such as account numbers and passwords. For example, you may receive a fake e-mail saying that you have won the lottery or got a lucky number, or you get a phone call or an e-mail asking you to call a given number to cancel an expensive service you did not subscribe to. In such cases, we must be very careful and do not trust any unknown sources asking for personal information by e-mail or by phone. Never respond to them. You won't receive any riches, and in fact you may get into legal trouble if you get involved in one of these scams.

On the whole, we must be aware of the tricks of telephone and e-mail frauds. Criminals are usually after our private information. They want to trick us into giving away private information either by calling them or handing it over online. Therefore, look before you leap and keep your personal information safe.

  Dear Sir/Madame,

I’m writing for more information about the day tour to London。

As a student at Oxford University, I’d like to know if you have any special price for students。 As for the money you charge, does it cover the entrance fees for visiting the places listed? What about lunch? Is it included? Or do I need to bring along my own food?

How long will the tour last? Since I need to prepare my lessons for the nest day, I’d like to know the time to return。 Besides, is there any time for shopping? I really want to have a look at the big stores in London。

  Yours,

  Li Hua

What is the difference between regular mails and e-mails?As we know, regular mails have been usded for thousands of years,it is very inconvenience, for it took a long time to receive. Besides, it costs you some money. While e-mails is very convenience, it take you only a few seconds to arrive the receiver and it is free to send .so more and more people use e-mails rather than regular mails. Some people think that it will be replace the regular mails.

In my opinion, the email will be more and more popular in the future, but it can not replace the regular mails because it can not send everything though it is very convenience to send letters. But,except letters,we sometimes want to sent other thingsto our friends which e-mails is impossible to send.

So we can draw an conclution that emails can not replace regular mails.People will use email to sent letter and use the regular to send other things.
