1、時態(tài)誤用

2、缺乏“詞匯美”
高級詞匯使用恰當能把作文提升一個檔次。作文中的高級詞匯主要體現(xiàn)在動詞和形容詞的運用。
同學在平日可以對詞義相近的單詞進行歸納總結(jié)，例如， complete，fulfill，accomplish，achieve，四者都代表“完成”意思。寫作文時，只需把簡單詞匯換成高級詞匯就能讓作文華麗“大變身”。
3、丟失“銜接美”
我們一般會在句首或句中增添一些連接詞，使得上下文通順連貫。當我們說起連接詞時，相信大部分同學首先想到but，because，so這類簡單連詞。但在改卷過程中，老師更欣賞使用如on the contrary ，as the result of，owing to的連接短語。
其實這類連詞或短語大家都背過不少，可是寫作文時總忘記學以致用，把學過的連接詞都忘記得一干二凈。
4、忘記“句式美”
有的同學缺乏句型積累，所以通篇運用簡單陳述句，句式平淡無味，很難吸引老師眼球。反之，如果同學們能適當運用復合句、強調(diào)句型、非謂語動詞，或with的復合結(jié)構。文章的句式就會多變，內(nèi)容描述會生動起來，分數(shù)也隨之提高。
例如：This book was so interesting that I read it again and again.
這本書是如此的有趣，以致我讀了一遍又一遍。
這是簡單的so…that句型的句子，如果把句型換成：
