City Life or Country Life
Both these two sorts of life have their own supporters who have balanced their advantages and disadvantages.
City life makes its supporters on top of the modern world. Compared with country life, city life seems to be more convenient. There are broad roads for traffic, and different shops for his people to buy everything they want. Besides, there’re also more jobs and opportunities for the young to try.
When it comes to country life, we know that it can be calm and peaceful. Living in the country with less struggles and temper makes people feel happy and relaxed. Moreover, its clear air and natural food lead people to a healthy life.
For me, I prefer to live in the country, for its pure and simple ways. My life needn’t be wealthy or complicated. Green trees and blue sky, a book and a cup of tea, a considerate lover and a warm family, that’s all I want.

Many people appreciate the conveniences of the city. People in the city can seefilms, visit exhibitions and watch games every day if they like to. Furthermore, if they want to Become scholars, scientists or artists, they can find what they need in the city: libraries, colleges, museums, and so on. The last But not the least important thing I'd like to say is that they can get to know as many people as they want in the city. But some other people are attracted by the beauty of the country. First, if one is in the country he feels he is closer to nature: small streams, high mountains, fresh air, green grass and so on, all this makes people happy and stirs up the love of life. Second, in the country, people seem to have more freedom. They can sing high in the field, ride horses along a brook and do some interesting farm work.
Of course, both the city and the country have their disadvantnges. As for the city, there is pollution, noise and heavy traffic. And as far as the country is concerned, its inefficient transportation, delayed news always make people feel isolated.
Compared with cities, the country is relatively backward, but nothing can be com pared with the clean atmosphere and the gentle pace of living. Living in the country is very good for your health. With the deveJopment of economy, it is a trend that people will migrate from the city to the country.

當(dāng)然，城鄉(xiāng)都有各自的不足之處。對城市來說，有污染、噪音和擁擠的交通。就鄉(xiāng)村而言，交通不便、消息不靈總使人們覺得與世隔絕。

Life generally refers to all the daily activities and experience for humans’ survival and development. Living in country or in city are the two basic lifestyles and have similarities and differences. Both styles of life offer people an opportunity for work and leisure. Nevertheless, economic conditions and entertainment choice of the two lifestyles differs greatly.
People both in country and in city all need to work hard to keep the pot boiling, and they also relax when free. Survival stress exists not only in city also in country. For example, peasants compete to improve crop yields, then they can get more many by selling the crops. Likewise, workers work hardly competing with their colleague hoping to apply for a higher position and higher salary. Moreover, both city and country offer people a chance to relax after they finish work.
In comparison, there are great differences between country life and city life. The biggest difference is the economic conditions. Generally, urban people earn more money leading a more modern and high-quality life. By contrast, most people’s income in country is much lower and their life is traditional with less living material. Another difference is the way to relax. People in city have more options for entertainment such as clubs, cinemas and concerts, and they also travel in holidays and have parties when a festival comes. In contrast, people living in country have less choice for leisure. They just watch TV after work and get together with relatives when not busy.
In summary, people living in country and city have similar life content including work and leisure. Nonetheless, there are great differences when referring to economic conditions and entertainment choice.
