　　Reference for Li**

　　I am Wang**, a lecturer and also the course leader at BISU HND-SQA center. I have been teaching majorly English, and accounting related subjects here for over four years. Li** studied in my classes for three semesters and he is definitely one of my favorite students.

　　我叫王**，是北京第二外國語學(xué)院SQA-HND項目中心的講師和課程主管。我目前已在此任職四年多，教授英語課程和會計相關(guān)課程。李**在我的課程中學(xué)習(xí)已經(jīng)有三個學(xué)期了，他毫無疑問是我最喜歡的學(xué)生。

　　I still vividly remember the first time I met Li. He was sitting quietly in the front of the classroom, smiling warmly waiting for me to start delivering the courses. Gradually, I knew that he was weak in English, but I was so deeply moved by his altitude towards study and his respects shown to me. For the whole semester, he was almost always the first one to arrive at the classroom, erase the white board, and start the computer system for me. He might not understand each word or theory that I said during the class, but he definitely tried his best to push himself to get involved into the text books by taking notes, discussing with me after classes or even recording the classes with some electrical devices. With all his efforts, he successfully passed the subject of accounting which was a very complicated course at the beginning of the semester for him. Actually, his efforts and hard working spirits are appraised by nearly all other lecturers within the program.

　　到現(xiàn)在我還清楚的記得我第一次見到李。他安靜地坐在教室前面，微笑著等待我開始這堂課的教學(xué)。漸漸地，我發(fā)現(xiàn)他的英文基礎(chǔ)很弱，但是我深深地被他的學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度和他對我的尊敬所感動。整整一個學(xué)期，他每天都是第一個來到教室的人，擦黑板并幫我打開電腦。他或許并不能理解我課堂上所講的每一個單詞或理論，但是他總是盡其所能去學(xué)習(xí)，他通過記筆記了解課本，課后主動與我討論甚至用一些電子儀器給課程錄音。通過他的這些努力，他成功考過了學(xué)期初的這門非常難的會計課程。事實上，在他所學(xué)習(xí)的所有科目中他都是如此的努力。

　　Because his excellent performances, he was voted by his classmates in the second academic year as the class monitor. Since then on, he has been taking more responsibilities for not himself, but also helping his fellow classmates to get onto the right track of study. In just a few weeks, many lecturers were surprised to find that the attendance for the classes was getting considerably well, and we all contributed this to Li’s unique communication and leadership skills. What is more, Li also actively participated and organized several campuses activities such as SQA English speech contests, basketball contests and other sporting activities. All these have turned out to be great successes and many students see him as the role model of themselves.

　　由于他的卓越表現(xiàn)，他在第二學(xué)年被同學(xué)們選舉為班長。從那時起，他不僅僅對自己負責(zé)任，同時幫助了很多他的同學(xué)回到正確學(xué)習(xí)的正軌上。在短短幾周內(nèi)，許多任課老師都驚喜的發(fā)現(xiàn)班級的出勤率相當(dāng)?shù)暮�，我們都一致認為這些歸功于李的卓越溝通技巧與領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力。另外，李經(jīng)常積極參與和組織許多校園活動，如SQA英語演講比賽，籃球賽，和其他體育活動。他所有的努力都被證明去的了巨大的成功，許多同學(xué)都視他為榜樣。

　　Li is a kid from a very wealthy family and his parents run a very successful company in North China. Despite of this, Li is such a thrifty student that no one can see his family background by the way he behaves. He dresses normally, eats at the university canteen, travels by buses and seldom incurs unnecessary spending. However, he donated a whole truck of mineral water to an impoverished village lack of clean water resources last summer by driving 2000 km from BEijing. This event was quite a big deal and the local newspapers reported this for seven days. As teachers, we are so happy to see that he well understands the use of money and meaning of social responsibility.

　　李來自于一個經(jīng)濟條件非常優(yōu)厚的家庭，他的父母在中國北部擁有一家非常成功的公司。但盡管如此，李是一個非常勤儉節(jié)約的學(xué)生，沒人能通過他的表現(xiàn)和行為看出他的家庭背景。他打扮普通，在學(xué)校食堂吃飯，坐公車并很少有不必要的花費。但是，去年夏天他從北京駕車2000千米去一個嚴重缺水的貧困村莊為村民們捐獻了整整一卡車款泉水。對當(dāng)?shù)貋碚f，這件大事在報紙上整整登了七天。作為老師，我們非常開心看到他懂得如何用錢并了解社會責(zé)任的真正含義。

　　All in all, I believe Li** is the kind of student China needs: intelligent, hard-working, kind hearted and delivering positive energy all the time to the world. We are all very proud to have him, and wish him the upmost success in the future.

　　總而言之，我相信李**是中國需要的那類學(xué)生：聰明、勤學(xué)、熱心并能向社會傳遞正能量。我們都為他感到自豪，并預(yù)祝他在未來取得巨大的成功。
