　　Teachers

　　i have been a student for 12 years. during this time, i have gained knowledge, met different people, and shaped my character.teachers are an important factor.they are the guides,friends, help providers, and even the enemies. in short, they are like actors playing different roles on the platform. some of them are so impressive and unique that they are still clear in my mind.

　　mr. he is a conscientious man with a pair of black framed glasses.he goes to great lengths to provide us with knowledge.the more, the better.we are nailed on seats for 55 minutes rather than 45 minutes in one class, because in his mental die tionary there is no conception of "class over" until the teacher of the net class smiles at him at the door. with a book and a piece of chalk in his hands, he looks like a well armed soldier, forcing us to take notes from the very first minute to the last. we have to fi our eyes on the blackboard for fear of missing a single word. so his class is really a trial to us. however, i must admit he is so logical and consistent in thinking that he provides us with knowledge in the clearest and the simplest way. the light of wisdom is shining behind those two black frames. therefore,he is very welcome.

　　things seem quite different in miss wang＇s class. most of us are daydreaming! the way she speaksthe specific pauses and rhythmmakes it difficult for us to concentrate on anything she says. her voice is like a lullaby that could drive a crying baby to sleep.the rest are obsessed with novels or homework.they are having a difficult time. they droop their heads as low as possible so as not to be detected.meanwhile, some other students are fascinated by the scenery outside the window.it is unfair to miss wang to some etent. once ! even saw tears of anger and depression in her eyes. but her class is really very boring. she teaches politics, sometimes with reference to philosophy and economics. that should have interested us, but she just repeats what the tetbook says and provides no eamples in reality. and seldom does she display quotations and illustrations.miss wang is supposed to improve her way of teaching.

　　mr. zhang is my chinese teacher. he is in a gray shirt all through the seasons so i always think the color of gray suits him best. he is a reserved man of average height, with little smile on his face. he is casual with everything and never forces us to take notes or to do many assignments. in his class, everyone feels relaed. his low sounding voice flows quietly through our minds,like streams, washing our hearts up with the literary sentences.he strides in and out of the classroom with a blow of breeze. up to now, i still remember his powerful handwriting. i like his personality, though nowadays chinese does not receive so much emphasis as other subjects. but with his guidance, i have learned to appreciate the poems and essays of great vitality.

　　as i grow up, many teachers have helped me. professors and lecturers give us more information about society, science and culture. they are fied in my mind. on the other hand, teachers should also communicate more with students. thus a better and more efficient relationship could be established.

　　in my oppion, two things cause stress, tiredness and time. you can imagine when a pile of work is laid out before your ehausted body, you must feel some changes in yourself, such as increased breathing rate, blood pressure level, headache and oppressed.

　　on the other hand, time is another key factor. because time is always limited, people try to do more within less time. at times, boosted by hopes, people spend untold time on work, but it takes forever to finish, then stress remains as a part of peoples life.

　　as time slips by, hopes dim, stress raises. and some steps must be taken to solve the problem.

　　many people are caught up in the cycle of stress but they do not realize it. so the most important step is being aware of potential stresses and avoiding them. then make a list to organize your work in a better way so that you can keep a balance between work and rest, in this situation, stress is not allowed to build up at all.

　　我喜歡英語這門學(xué)科。最早接觸英語的時(shí)候是小學(xué)三年級(jí)，當(dāng)時(shí)學(xué)校對(duì)這門新開設(shè)的功課雖然比較重視，但沒有安排單元檢測(cè)，所以大家上英語課都比較散漫，整個(gè)課堂都鬧哄哄的，而且我們的老師水平似乎也不高。那個(gè)時(shí)候，我對(duì)英語并不感興趣。

　　直到五年級(jí)，我們換了一個(gè)英語老師，這個(gè)新老師長(zhǎng)得很漂亮，英語說得很好，我很喜歡她。剛開始，我是因?yàn)樗拿烂�，想讓她注意我，才在課堂上認(rèn)真聽講的。后來，我學(xué)進(jìn)去之后，才發(fā)現(xiàn)英語很有意思，也很“好學(xué)”，因此，我對(duì)英語產(chǎn)生來濃厚的興趣。

　　現(xiàn)在初中了，我還是對(duì)英語有濃厚的興趣。黃老師很親切，每次看到她，就像是看到老熟人一樣。我很喜歡上她的課，有時(shí)我都巴不得一整天都上英語課。英語課很輕松，幾乎都是洋溢著笑聲的。黃老師還能說一口流利的英文，可以完全聽懂老外的話，也可以流利地和老外交流，這一點(diǎn)，我特別羨慕黃老師。她是我的偶像，是我的榜樣，我要像她看齊（雖然她是我的老師）。

　　班上很多人覺得我上英語課和外教可很激動(dòng)，確實(shí)，我承認(rèn)，但這也是我喜歡英語的.一種方式。我對(duì)英語有一種莫名的喜歡，看到老外，我就像是吃了興奮一樣，就算原本不高興也會(huì)變得很高興。

　　上外教課時(shí)，我會(huì)很認(rèn)真地聽講，雖然有很多聽不懂，老外抽問時(shí)，我也都會(huì)積極地舉手發(fā)言，哪怕是回答不了。我也不會(huì)覺得丟臉，因?yàn)槲艺酒饋砘卮饐栴}，也是給自己的一次鍛煉機(jī)會(huì)，同時(shí)也和老外多接觸了一次，所以，哪怕是回答不了問題，我也是很開心的。

　　這個(gè)暑假我去看了上海的世博會(huì)，我在世博園里大開了眼界，里面有好多的外國(guó)人。每看到外國(guó)人我都會(huì)主動(dòng)上去邀請(qǐng)他們和我一起拍照。剛開始和老外交流時(shí)，我有些害怕，怕自己說不好英語，但是那些熱情的外國(guó)人個(gè)給予了我勇氣，讓我敢于大聲發(fā)出邀請(qǐng)，“Can you teke photos with me？”（你能和我一起拍照嗎？）當(dāng)然，在和外國(guó)人交涉的時(shí)候我也碰過壁，那是在地鐵站里，我看到一個(gè)外國(guó)人，我很開心地看來他一眼，可他卻皺著眉頭，用不標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的普通話說“不要看我�！边@句話讓當(dāng)時(shí)的我很是尷尬，因?yàn)槲覐奈磁龅竭^這種狀況，這次的事，讓我注意起對(duì)待老外的應(yīng)有禮節(jié)，但這并不影響我對(duì)英語的熱愛。

　　first we pitched the tent. then our older brothers and older sisters played game with us. at noon, we all had a delicious lunch followed by a barbecue for dinner. at night, we had bonfire and sang and danced. we didn’t sleep until 10:20 at night. but some of the boys were so noisy we couldnt fall alseep. i only slept for three hours. the net morning, everybody woke up very early. after eercising in the morning, we all went to see the small pigs. on the way there, we saw a lot of geese. at 10:00, we went back to eat ice cream. it was so cold. then, we all played games together. we ate lunch at 12:00.

　　in the afternoon, we played musical instruments and sang. after that, camp was over. we had a lot of fun at the summer camp. i am looking forward o going to another summer camp soon.

　　There are several reasons why people feel no confidence about themselves when they meet the challenges. First of all, they underestimate themselves. Second, they tend to overestimate the problems that in front of them. Last but not least, they are afraid of losing their face or making terrible mistakes if they fail.

　　當(dāng)人們面對(duì)挑戰(zhàn)的時(shí)候之所以會(huì)不自信，有如下的幾個(gè)原因。首先，他們低估了自己的能力；其次，又高估了所面對(duì)的困難。最后一點(diǎn)，他們害怕丟臉或是被他人嘲笑，如果他們真的失敗了的話。

　　There are many ways for us to build up self-confidence. Emerson used to say: “Self-trust is the first secret of success.” Before we do something, we should make full preparations and try to encourage ourselves that we will success. If we fail, don’t be afraid, try again; or turn to others for help. If we can overcome the adversities this time, then we will gain some confidence. Step by step, we would become more and more confident. We should have a right attitude toward our abilities and should never look down upon ouurselves. The chief thing to remember is: failure is the mother of success.

　　為了提高我的英語學(xué)習(xí)成績(jī)，放暑假的時(shí)候，媽媽為我報(bào)了一個(gè)英語學(xué)習(xí)班。

　　我第一次去上課，看到老師和同學(xué)們邊做游戲邊學(xué)習(xí)，感覺上課的氣氛很好，于是很快進(jìn)入學(xué)習(xí)氛圍中，但是上了幾次課后，就感覺到英語知識(shí)有些跟不上，所以上課總是沒精打采，有時(shí)有不會(huì)的問題也不問老師，幾次考試都考的很不理想，媽媽看到我這樣批評(píng)了我，章老師也給我講了很多的道理，最后我們約定，一個(gè)月以后看結(jié)果，如果我認(rèn)真按老師的學(xué)習(xí)方法去努力，如果還是成績(jī)還沒有提高，那我就放棄這次英語學(xué)習(xí)。

　　自從和老師約定以后，我就試著按老師的學(xué)習(xí)方法進(jìn)行。端正學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度，不懂就問，要求自己每天必須看、讀、背，認(rèn)真聽懂每一堂課。只靠每星期兩個(gè)小時(shí)的學(xué)習(xí)，是不夠的`，于是回到家我繼續(xù)堅(jiān)持讀課文、看視頻、背單詞，有不會(huì)的問題問老師，以前我認(rèn)為問問題會(huì)挨老師罵，可并不是我想象的那樣，我不僅沒有挨罵，反而老師還不斷鼓勵(lì)我，表?yè)P(yáng)我，使我在學(xué)習(xí)中得到了快樂。

　　時(shí)間一天一天的過去，我慢慢的進(jìn)步了，第一次考了90分，第二次考了95分，第三次考了96分，我太高興了，向100分沖刺了！學(xué)校的英語成績(jī)也有很大的提高。事實(shí)證明我已經(jīng)愛上了英語。
