Hello, everyone. It is truly my honor to give you my speech here. My topic is a special friend of mine.
Perhaps the most vital person I have ever met is him, an enterpriser, speaker who’s name is X XX. He gives me so much on my way of life, second only to my parents.
Maybe he is not very famous to us. Under the one by chance, I had the honor to listen to his speech in my school. I still remember the title of that speech was XXX. I got to resonate with his all points. After the speech, we became very good friends. We had e-mail connection almost every year. If it is true that life makes a wise man smile and a foolish man cry, then my friend is truly a wise man. The biggest thing that had impressed me was one time I told him that I contradicted the boss in my practice internship for a little trifle. I just wanted to get some comfort from him. To my surprise, he said, “Did you apologize? You are a big guy now. If you want to be a successful man, you should learn how to take the responsibility for whatever you have done. No matter how small the mistake is, mistake is a mistake. Apologize first, that is what you should do.”
From then on, if there is the mistake that I am in, no matter how big part should I take, I apologize first. Every guy around me finded the big change of me and liked to play with me. I felt so good. No doubt I learned a lot from my friend and owed him a great deal. Thanks to him very much.
That’s all. And thank you very much for listening.
When I was in high school, one of my classmates sit right beside me. His name is ChenLiang. He is my unforgettable person in my life.
I remembered my mathematics was just mediocre at that time, but he was extraordinary and excellent in calculating and solving mathematic questions. He often received perfect scores. Of course, I wished I could reach at his level. Since we talked all day long, I asked how he could solve those difficult questions. He was so patient and polite to answer my sometimes ridiculous thinking. Gradually, I built my confidence at mathematics and finally passed the college entrance exam.
Now, we are apart, but I still remember his great attitude and willing in study. I am so obliged to my classmate, who is my friend always and forever.
I have met so many friends in my high school life. They have exerted enormous influence on my life. However, one of my most impressive friends is my roommate, Li Lei.
In the class meeting on the first day of school, Li Lei did not impress us at all. We started to notice him because he was always late for classes. We were thus impressed by his laziness.I came to know him and his situation because we were roommates and spent much time together: his mother was seriously ill and sick abed in long-term, his father left him and his mother mercilessly. Hence, it was him that shouldered the heavy burden of taking care of his sick mother supporting the whole family.
Finally, under great pressures, he balancedhis life and study perfectly: he was no longer always late, took good care of his mother and even won the scholarship many years in a row.
He left a deep impression and imposeda durable influence on me. Indeed, friend such as him can be regarded as asset and property in our life. We have rights to choose our own friends, but we should also be prudent and sensible enough to choose friends who can bring us “positive energy”.
Perhaps the most vital person I have ever met is an Italian professor of philosophy who teaches at the University of Pisa.Although I last met this man eight years ago, I have not forgotten his special qualities.
First of all,I was impressed by his devotion to teaching. Because his lectures were always well-prepared and clearly delivered, students swarmed into his classroom. His followers appreciated the fact that he believed in what he taught and that he was intellectually stimulating.Furthermore, he could be counted on to explain his ideas in an imaginative way, introducing such aids to understanding as paintings, recordings, pieces of sculpture, and guest lecturers. Once he even sang a song in class to illustrate a point.
Second, I admired the fact that he would confer with students outside of the classroom or talk with them on the telephone. Drinking coffee in the snack bar, he would easily make friends with students. Sometimes he would challenge a student to a game of chess. At other times, he would join groups to discuss subjects ranging from astronomy to scuba diving. Many young people visited him in his office for academic advice; others came to his home for social evenings.
Finally,I was attracted by his lively wit. He believed that no class hour is a success unless the students and the professor share several chuckles and at least one loud laugh.Through his sense of humor, he made learning more enjoyable and more lasting. If it is true that life makes a wise man smile and a foolish man cry, then my friend is truly a wise man. Probably the best example of his wit is this bit of wisdom with which he once ended a lecture:“It is as dangerous for man to model himself upon his invention, the machine,as it would be for God to model Himself upon His invention.”
Standing in front of the merry go round, the shackles of memory are suddenly opened. The tenderest memory sweeps the most delicate vein of the heart.
It seems that there is always a shadow in my memory, which can't be left forever. Is it you? Is it you who carved the eternal scar in my memory? Every time I think of you, why do you always have a lot of memories about you? It must be you, the most impressed you, the most loved you.
I've known you in a breezy autumn.
In a drizzling spring, you left me.
This is not the so-called fate.
I always look at the happy children on the merry go round, they are happy, so simple and relieved. I didn't enter my world until the music stopped. Even if I don't want to leave.
I remember at that time, I liked to ride the merry go round. Because the rotation brings different pleasure, but also because it is an important memory of you and me. We spend almost every day on the merry go round.
At that time, I took your hand everyday and went to the park to take a carousel. You just stand in front of the fence and watch me rotate and rotate. I vaguely remember your bright face and smile. When I was a child, I asked you, why do you always look around but don't sit on it? You tell me, you want to be a merry go round, let me climb your back, take me soaring in the wind and rain.
Once, the music stopped, I came down from the merry go round, the sky began to rain a little, so you use your big hand to hold my little hand, walk in the warm rain. I saw that the umbrella in your hand was constantly leaning towards me. Later, half of your body was wet.
Then, one day, it rained. I hate going out in the rain. But you insist on taking me to sit on the carousel, and then you still can't beat me. I didn't expect that after that time, you never took me to the carousel again. The sky keeps falling
Rain, it hasn't stopped for several days. I didn't ride the carousel after that.
Now that I've grown up, I don't want to sit on a merry go round. I'm afraid of jokes. Such a big man, what kind of Trojan is he sitting on! I began to look like you at the children on the merry go round, spinning. Seems to understand why you like it.
Time is like a drop of water in a leaky glass on a shoe. Gradually, the impression of you faded, seems to have forgotten.
Once, when I was walking on the road, a store name attracted me. It's called "spinning wood". It's strange. I went in and there were all kinds of merry go round decorations in the shop. There is a song, floating into my ears, penetrating my heart.
"With gorgeous appearance and gorgeous lights
I'm a merry go round in heaven
Just to meet the children's dreams
Climb on my back and fly with you
I forget the sadness that can only run in place
And I forgot that I was locked forever
No matter how long I can be with you
At least let you dream of flying with me "
Grandpa, you in heaven, do you feel it?

In a night, : in the evening, I sit at my window desk alone, double album, sections of the past emerge in the bottom of my heart, in the end, my eyes stay on a photo of a bit too yellow. That is a picture of I and my grandma in the buddhist temple, looking at, the tears will not flow tripped over wet skirt...
My grandma died in our country during his first year in small. Love me very much, when she had any delicious food, also loathe to give up myself to eat, always leave me to enjoy. She also often go out for a walk with me, tell everyone how obedient he praised me, how clever. Thought of here, my heart is a qualm.
My grandma is also a master of story telling. On one occasion, she said a "tortoise and the hare" story to me. Tell me no matter what to do, we always uphold the "to win without pride and lose with grace" spirit, even fools, consult with an open mind. Once upon a time, my grandma also said "Wolf" story, told me: a person must be based on "integrity", on the basis of credit, do not deceive people, do a gentleman in the society. Grandma though not read many books, but she said every one word, one sentence, is rich in meaning expression, let I lifetime.
A plot of land near the house, the planted many vegetables and flowers. Holiday in my spare time, I always like to garden, looking at grandma's back, I can't see sorrow and grief, isn't it? Grandma is always happy to meet in life every one day! I don't have any hesitation, roll up your sleeves and help food to catch insects. Here is my grandma and my heaven! Today, my grandma has gone, how can this don't call me sad?
I always keep my grandma to endless thoughts into words, written in the book of the small paper, hope that my missing small paper boat will bring in the kingdom of heaven is grandma. Grandma, you also to my dream, accompany my chat, talk!

I met him last summer. He was short and tanned, and was about twelve years old. He was selling the balloons on the sideway when I met him, I was curious and asked him:” why do you do business at such young age?” he said:” I’m not doing business, I have been saving money. I want to donate it to the disaster area, the children there need help.” I was surprise, and ashamed. I bought many balloons from him and asked him to keep the change.
I should learn from him to be a kind-hearted person.
